Players coming to experience the demo can choose between two scenarios: defend the capital against an invasion of fiends and prove your worth as a new Emperor in the Goblin Raid, or take on the challenge of facing off against one of the Seven Heroes: Subier, Lord of the Seas, in the depths of the Sunken Ship!
*Difficulty can be adjusted to your liking, picking one of three modes: Casual, for newcomers seeking an introduction to the world of SaGa; Normal, for the RPG veterans who wish for a balance experience; and Classic, for the fans of the original game looking to relive its trademark challenge!

本作は1993年に発売された『ロマンシング サ・ガ２』の完全フル3Dリメイク作品です。
古の英雄「七英雄」とバレンヌ帝国歴代皇帝たちとの戦いを描く壮大なストーリーと、“閃き”や“陣形”など、他のRPGとは一線を画す「サガ」シリーズ独自の画期的なシステムはそのままに、戦闘や成長システムの見直しや難易度設定の追加など原作ファンだけではなく、初めての人でも遊びやすいようにゲームシステムを再構築しています。
The second installment of the Romancing SaGa series, originally released in Japan in 1993, has returned with a vengeance as a full 3D remake!
The pixel sprites based off the illustrations of the renowned Tomomi Kobayashi have now been all rendered in clean 3D, as well as a variety of beautifully modeled interactible environments and eye-catching techniques and spells, their effects updated to match modern graphics.
Witness the Varennes Emperor's retinue in their full glory and guide their path to victory as they face off the Seven Heroes in a grand conflict that spans generations. Returning players can find inspiration in "Glimmers" and devise stratagems through "Battle Formations"—SaGa staples carried over from the original—alongside brand new combat and growth systems which will appeal to both older and newer fans alike!
